OUR CLIENTS
Through training and consulting, we have worked with a wide range of youth and volunteers from all over the globe. Here are some quotes from our clients.
Elizabeth Coira// Strategic Communications & Management Consulting
It has been my great joy to witness Ms. Choyce’s inspiring efforts through the years, first as a UN colleague and then I volunteered as a pro bono communications and strategy consultant for her aid organization. From feeding toddlers in South Africa born into the most impoverished of circumstances, to educating traumatized boys and girls orphaned by civil war in Sri Lanka, Ms. Choyce is an unusual and shining example of a woman who has refused to look the other way… With projects that span the globe, as well as right at home in Halifax with her simultaneous work with immigrant and refugee children, Ms. Choyce is operating on all cylinders.
Eartha Monard// Dartmouth High Principle
Sunyata offers engaging and interactive workshops helping ‘youth’ navigate their way through a new culture and new environment……the service Sunyata provides is an invaluable resource.
Shelley & Peter Godsell //e’pap Childrens Feeding program South Africa
We have been involved in philanthropic work, serving children of South Africa for the last 20 years, for the bulk of this period we have been privileged to know and partner with Sunyata Choyce. Sunyata has built resilience into her projects by building relationships with other actors in the field. She is a person of high personal integrity, determination and someone who can be relied on. Her commitment to the welfare and development of the children of our region is beyond doubt. We have the highest regard for her looking over the diversity of her projects, the key words that spring to mind are caring, committed, brave and determined.

I am so overflown with emotions now I feel like crying !!!! I really love working with those special group of boys, they made a huge difference in my life. They taught me to appreciate what I have and not to take what I have for granted.
Being part of the community outreach projects filled my heart with joy and happiness.
These projects made such an impact on my life you will have no idea.
Thank you again, Peace out, Alexis
Micha // Volunteer from Germany
It's a bit difficult for me to express my thoughts for the whole situation in an email but let me say/write this: what you achieved in project colors up until now is much much more than anyone achieved I know of. you build up an award-winning organization from scrap, helped so many individuals, changed lifes and put hope in many people's hearts (not to sound cheesy) it is (or should be) an inspiration for everyone who knows ýou. especially as I told my family and friends about the time there I realized how unique project colors (and probably you as well, as project colors definitely is a part of you) is and how important it is for the people that it will continue.
Working with you in the projects was one of the best experiences in my life.
Best wishes to you and everyone over there and take care MICHA

Thanks so much for welcoming me to Santa Domingo and your project connections. I am really glad I went. You have really motivated me to start a project even a small one for now. I would like to collect bedding and towels etc. for the Haitian Refugee camp as thats what they need. I would also like to start a bigger project in Lascola Rada to have communal toilets put in they have a well but need the piping and work to complete this. The land is readily donated. As you know being a social activist it is impossible for me to be in such a country and not involve myself in some kind of positive intervention. Give yourself a pat on the back girl, you are doing some great work. You should be receiving DANGER PAY!!!! With all the experiences you have had there.

I feel nothing but good about the work Sunyata and her friends are doing, and I think it's about the most worthwhile thing I ever heard of. Brilliant work -- I'm proud to be helping with it.

Wow I am very emotional at the moment and happy at the same time because I have always wish to actually know this *Anonymous* who has made my life to run smoothly without worrying or stressing about the school fees.
I thank the good LORD for bringing you in my life because I have learned a lot in a short period of time and also fell in love with volunteering.
Once again I thank you for everything especially for the opportunities, I really appreciate your concern for young stars like me who will make a difference in other people's lives including our disadvantaged backgrounds.
Yours Faithfully.

When I first joined an English speaking school, I knew nothing about the way it works. Then I met, Ms.Sunyata. After two weeks, I felt I became someone who could do any task asked with proficiency. It made me someone better and felt more powerful. I improved my sense of direction and my ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
As the years went on, being in the Yearbook Club, Multicultural Club and the Global Girls Agent of Change Club expanded the way I saw myself within the school. At first, it is always difficult to adapt and fit in the school but then with new friends, you become more social. With the Global Girls Agent of Change Club (run by CHOYCE Humanitarian Consulting), they helped to brainstorm ideas to improve yourself and our community with our team.
We work together to see how we can improve our school through beneficial activities that help everyone. We learned to be agents of change, and that is how I would like to see myself in the future.

You’re our voice, we can't get the attention of people in North America the way that you can. You can tell the stories for us.
Murdock and Connie // Canada
….again you amaze me that you are not only looking out for the children but also caring for animals with all that you have on your plate. There is no question that you should be in humanitarian work because you are so committed to helping others and making a difference in the world. Bravo.

You taught me to get off my butt and stop talking about doing stuff,,,but start doing anything to try and make a difference in my own way.

You are working with some very special kids – and you and the other volunteers are doing a very good thing to make the world a better place in a real way. I’m very happy to be involved in my small way. Lots of people think about making a difference, and lots talk about it. You are doing it. Keep up the great work.
Angie // Admin Volunteer

Thanks for getting in touch, actually we had a great time with the kids and we totally forget about all the many problems they have. You guys are doing a great job and I personally appreciate it. It takes some one's heart to support kids in need, I always say, it is a calling.
